The Kerala Public Service Commission introduced online one-time registration system for job-seekers which allows an applicant to register his details from anywhere in the world and that will be considered for all the job applications by him in the future. Inaugurating the registration at the PSC Head Office in Thiruvananthapuram on March 28, 2012, the Chief Minister uploaded the first notification regarding Fireman Trainee on the website.
PSC online One time registration has been introduced with the aim of publishing all ranklists within one year from the notification date. Once registered, a person would become a permanent applicant with a login and password. He can get his certificates verified at any point of time, and he can update his details online whenever he wants to. After Successful submission, candidate can see their status in profile as ‘Applied’ and will get sms on mobile phone. The one time registration system, Thulasi 1.0, has been designed and developed in-house by the PSC staff using free and open source software (FOSS
It will be ensured for a more efficient and transparent functioning of PSC.
